BEARDY BAKES: Illustration, Logo Design & Business Card

A home-based Singaporean baker wanted to get his act together and turn his passion into a serious profession and he needed a grand logo that captured the beauty of his minimalist cakes and his personality as well. He provided me with a picture of himself along with a few images of his bakes. He wanted this brand identity to reflect his personality and the type of cakes he bakes. I illustrated his face as per the picture given and he suggested to add on a chef's hat and give his beard a clean cut. I then took inspiration from his almond topping meringue cake and used that as the logo background while giving it a circular border that resembles the colour of his cake. We together arrived on the placement of the brand name in the logo and the final results are below! The fonts were chosen by the client himself for the logo and the Business Card. He wanted the fonts to be playful yet clean look.

Business Card colour was chosen by the client. I suggested using a QR code for Carousell instead of a link to give it a cleaner look and easy access to clients.
